Vice President, Finance and Information Technology
Jim Martin is vice president, Finance and Information Technology for Gerber. Martin joined Gerber in 1986 after beginning his career with the public accounting firms of Ernst & Young in New York City and Arthur Andersen in Hartford. He has held various leadership roles in the finance area at Gerber after joining the company in the internal audit function. From 1990 until 2000, Martin served in several accounting and finance roles at Gerber Technology, including controller, director of Financial Operations and chief financial officer. In 2000, Martin returned to the Gerber corporate offices as director of Corporate Audit and Compliance and was responsible for the implementation of the company’s compliance program with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. In 2009, Martin moved into the position of vice president, Corporate Finance and Treasury. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame, and has achieved the designations of Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
